The Legend of The Crossroads
Robert Johnson was a young guy who just wanted the play the blues. He played in blues bars but he wasn’t too good, the people there would shoo him off he was so bad. So he left. For quite a while, actually. One day he came back to the bar and began to play… terrifically.
They asked him, “Robert, how did you get so good?”
He replied, “If you go down to the crossroads and bring your guitar, just before midnight. You’ll meet the devil. You give the devil your guitar and he’ll tune it and give it back to you in return for your soul.”
